Text: The PlantCT(TM) System shall provide warning information about the infection probability regarding to the following pathogens:
  • Sunflower downy mildew (Plasmopara halstedtii)
  • Sunflower white mold (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum)
  • Sunflower stem cancer (Diaporte helianthi)
and pests (Nematodes, Molluscs, Insects, and Acari):
  • Black bean aphid (Aphis fabae)
  • Leaf-curling plum aphid (Brachycaudus helichrysi)
  • European sunflower moth (Homoeosoma nebulellum)

Rationale: These are the main pathogens that affect sunflower. They can actually significantly reduce the harvest prospects.
