Text: The Station Module of the PlanCT^TM System shall include an anemometer providing information about the actual wind speed (in km/h).

Required technical parameters

• Stock temperature: > -40 Celsius .. < +125 Celsius
• Operating temperature: > -10 Celsius .. < +85 Celsius
• Measurement range: from min. 2 km/h (0.56 m/s) to max. 100 km/h (27.78 m/s)
• Maximal mass: 300 g
• Standard deviation error: max 1 %
• Accuracy: standard deviation error + max. 4 % of the measured value
• Resolution (in case of digitalized output): min 10 bit

Rationale: Wind speed is a key parameter regards the planning of different plant protective operations (e.g. spraying) The total mass must be limited due to maximal wind speed has to be measured.
